How can BPO companies help advertising agencies, or how can BPO companies be a success to online advertising?
how can we relate BPO companies with Online search marketing?
admin answers:
BPO can help the advertising agencies and online advertising by the following ways:
1. BPO does both core and non-core fuctions for the company and agencies.
2.It will also be responsible in taking all the IT responsibilities that include dealing with website, server, rating, customer database. Many technical expertise is used of the BPO which includes knowledge, skills, creativity at low cost.
3. BPO often is involved making survey in the market for advertising companies like telephone survey, email survey. They also reach various companies for the advertising agencies and get business from them.pursuing various companies
3. It will be involved in the human resource fuctions like payroll, training and so on.

James asks…
Do you think advertising agencies really believe the public is so dumb they can say something like this?
Just saw a shampoo ad on TV. It showed someone gently put their fingers through their hair and found a few strands in their hand. Then a voice said “Did you know that falling hair is a sign of weak hair?”
ummm…. yes!! (Did you know that saying the bloody obvious to the audience is a sign of your own stupidity and contempt? – LOL)
admin answers:
Did you know that the average television ad is on a third-grade level? And yet they sell stuff? Don’t think about it too long, or you WILL get depressed!

Robert asks…
How to land a job in an Advertising Agency??
I live in Miami and I’ve sent a lot of resumes and I’ve called the agencies to send in my resume and they always tell me to email it. I never get an answer. I don’t know where else to look for an Advertising job. I don’t have any experience (except for a 6 month internship at a bad ad agency) but I really want to start my career. I don’t know what the next step should be….
I don’t know if there’s something wrong with my resume or cover letter.
admin answers:
Has anyone proofread both your cover letter and resume?
That’s #1. Grammatical errors will disqualify you immediately.
#2 What is your job objective as stated on the resume? You want to start out in an agency, but what do you want to do? Do you want to be in production? An Account Executive? A Copywriter?
You could go to various employment agencies with your resume. They might be able to place you – and it won’t cost you anything since they are paid by the employer.

Lizzie asks…
Advertising agencies in Singapore?
I am looking for a directory listing of advertising agencies in Singapore. Is there any available online with their contact information? Specifically, I am looking to work in Singapore and want this information to send my resume.
admin answers:
Companies will usually advertise for vacancies in the newspapers/online jobs websites or by words of mouth. Rather than sending your resumes all over the island, you can ask your friends in Singapore to keep a lookout for you or check out these general online job sites:
http://www.jobsdb.com/SG/
http://www.jobscentral.com.sg/
http://www.jobstreet.com.sg/
http://www.monster.com.sg/
http://www.singaporejobsonline.com/
Alternatively you can also check out the Career Resources Center for Expatriates: http://www.aasingapore.com/programs/crce.shtml
or add the ‘Recruit’ section of local newspaper ‘Straits Times’ to her list of hunting grounds when you are here.
Good luck job hunting!

Chris asks…
what advertising agencies are there in guam?
I’m moving to Guam in a few months and I currently am working in advertising in NY – this is a HUGE move and I was hoping that finding a job in the same industry’s going to make my relocation a lot better. Can anyone recommend ad agencies in the island?
I’ve heard about Big fish Creative, Inc. – is that good?
admin answers:
I don’t know if they are any good or bad in guam but I know that they are not the same as in NY. Guam does not have the same type of accounts like NY nor the media. Therefore expect the pace to be different and the advertising needs diferent.
I would expect a lot more below the line ads and some print ads. Go there and source around. find out the 5 w 1 h and then decide.
Remember to compile your portolio and testimonials rom the employer and clients if possible. It more believeable that college degrees.

Sandy asks…
Are advertising agencies going out of business? is it unrealistic to want to start a Marketing Firm?
I am interested in Television and Film Advertising and Marketing. I am also interested in Film Production and all other aspects of Marketing. I even have a great idea on how to improve Telemarketing for the Marketers and the customers…. any advice is great.
admin answers:
You can still get a job no problem! Your best bet is to find these jobs in the city, though. You won’t find them just anywhere. New York is the best area in the U.S. for these sorts of jobs. Marketing is going to be essential in the future, especially through all the new technologies coming into play. So online marketing would also be a huge plus

James asks…
what is the ruls for advertising agencies ?
i wanna oppen an advertising agency but what is the most important to make it the best
admin answers:
The most important things are experience and reputation. Typically, ad agencies are run by people who already had a job as an ad salesperson for TV, radio, a magazine or newspaper. You use that experience with whatever education you have, plus the clients who have come to trust you through your previous jobs.
.

Carol asks…
What are the benefits of using advertising agencies?
admin answers:
Advertising agencies are the professionals who can take your basic ideas and make them incredible. With an agency you get the synergy of having many diverse ideas come together rather than relying on only one or two minds. Many times business people lose sight of the fact that “you can’t see the forest for the trees.” An agency will give you fresh ideas from another perspective to help balance the ideas that may be biased because a business person is wrapped up in his or her own business and cannot see from the consumer’s perspective.
One of the biggest benefits beyond the creativity is that ad agencies can save businesses money in the long run.
1. They have the ability to buy media in bulk at rates that a single business cannot obtain.
2. They are educated as to the best times and places to run ads to reach your target market, ultimately minimizing wasted spending.
3. They can help you fine tune your target market so that the message is designed to reach those you want to reach.
4. As your agent, they will let you send any media rep who calls on your business to them freeing up your time to focus it more where you need it…running your business.
They have many more benefits, but these are the ones on the top of my mind.

Laura asks…

advertising advertising slogans

Maria asks…
Why is the word “good” being used so much in advertising and slogans?
admin answers:
Because when they were saying “bad” product just wasnt moving?

David asks…
slogans advertising, what does slogans advertising effects on product sale?
also tell me some famous slogans of advertising
admin answers:
An advertising slogan has a positive effect the sale of a product as it increases memory retention and if well thought out sums up the product’s unique selling proposition in a short catchy phrase. If well advertised or clever, people will remember it and associate the phrase with your product.
This makes further advertising easier as the initial awareness and product association has been created.
Here are some famous advertising examples:
Apple Computers: Think different
BMW: The ultimate driving machine
Campari: The first time is never the best
The Independent (newspaper): It is. Are you?
Adidas: Impossible Is Nothing
Brut Aftershave: Splash it all over
Courage Beer: It’s what your right arm’s for
Esso (1964): Put a Tiger in Your Tank
Arpege Perfume: No bottles to break – just hearts
Cadbury’s Flake: Sixpence worth of Heaven
Carnation Milk: Milk from contented cows
Post Office (1964): Someone, somewhere, wants a letter from you
Ralston Purina Pet Food: All you add is love
Allstate Insurance: You’re in good hands with Allstate

admin answers:
Its a scam, there is no puppy and all of this information is fake. I’ve posted before, this is a Cameroon puppy scam. Do not fall for it
“Senders information
Full name:Lundy Millan
Address:9637 w swan rd Denver CO 83012″ – how are they in Colorado when a day ago they were in Cameroon? They can’t even keep their stories straight. And that address doesn’t even exist, just look on google maps, no such address
Read the first line “Welcome to V3CARGO SHIPPING and RELOCATING SERVICES Denver Colorado.” – a company from Colorado would not ship anything from Africa to Asia and real companies dont use free Rocketmail. And there is no company in Denver called V3 cargo – it’s fake. If it was a real company they would have a website or nobody could ever use their services
No legitimate shipping company would ever accept Western Union, they take credit cards. More proof of this scam
And read the flight schedule for your puppy – that’s just flight details from DENVER to Hanoi, it doesn’t go anywhere near Cameroon
Nobody is ever going to ship any puppy internationally, they die in transit. Anything over 12 hours and the dog will be dead. A puppy will not survive from Thursday to Sunday and no reputable dog owner or breeder would ever agree to send a puppy overseas.
Do not send the money, at 9 weeks that animal is not even old enough to be shipped, most legitimate shippers will not take any animal under 16 weeks
If you are daft enough to send 210$ then they send you another email a day later saying it’s hot and they need 200$ more for an air conditioned crate. Then another 150$ for export licensse. Then 200$ for something else until you finally wake up out of your dream world and finally figure out this is a scam like people already told you
Need more proof of this scam
google “titus jr” + bulldog and you’ll find him listed on sites saying he is in New Orleans, Florida, Washington and many other sites that have deleted the listing
The phone nrs you list have already been reported as scammers

Paul asks…
What do you really think of this Big society programme is it masking cuts in services?
I don’t think voluntary work is a bad idea if you are retired and have a few hours spare a week or if you are unemployed and needing to add to your experiences with say 4 to 8 hours of voluntary work a week, to get your benefits.
I do believe that it is reasonable to expect the unemployed to do some voluntary work as it would help them adjust to the work environment and not become accustomed to just waiting for a hand out to get by. However, I would not expect an unemployed person to do 16 hours or more a week because this number of hours could provide a decent income for someone needing a second income in the home where the primary full time wage earner is struggling to support the bills and the general costs of living.
I’m a bit concerned that voluntary workers could be used to replace job holders. Its ok to accept a little help to say keep a small public library open or a small swimming pool by reducing the wage bill of say one person in each,, but surely you can’t reduce it altogether. I certainly wouldn’t want to see the lifeguard in a swimming pool replaced by voluntary workers, would you?
As you can see I am a little wary of what the full impact of the “Big Societies volunteering scheme” can do.
What it’s full impact will be upon the job market.
I recognise already that whenever I have had the need to job hunt myself in the last five years that often the same jobs are advertised time and time again with various agencies and websites and having been a job searcher, you just know that there isn’t – 20 Admin posts with blah blah company. There isn’t 20 Social workers posts with such and such an authority. But in adding up the adverts you could find 50 adverts for the one post. Multiply those 50 adverts by 100 applicants per add and what do you get. You get 5.000 people applying in truth for one post. That is how chronic the job market is for job searchers.
Thrown out into the job market through cuts in social services, welfare bodies, the nhs etc does not mean that those workers will step into a job in the private sector as the private sector is also struggling.
The 25% newly qualified air force pilots now redundant will not automatically step into touring company air line posts. Although they may well step into some “jobs for the boys ” type posts in the remaining quasi authorities and commissions well supported by the Tory party.
So what do you make of it all?
BTW MP’s in Britain Earn as Mp’s a salary between 70k and 90k any other monies over and above that comes from having second jobs. As speakers, executives of industry and other businesses, some have second incomes from being accountants or solicitors. So the ten big things about our European partnership is not entirely correct. But to rectify them might take a book.
admin answers:
Big Society is another name for a Big Brother Police state where everyone will be required (forced) to do some work for nothing. It will only apply to working class and some middle class people.

Sharon asks…
Could you critique my cover letter? Does it sound ok?
Dear Ms. Smith,
I am pleased to read about the Administrative Assistant position that is currently being advertised at . My previous experience has prepared me well for this position and I am confident that I can perform the job effectively. I am very competent at performing routine clerical duties such as typing, filing, and answering telephones and have extensive experience dealing with and assisting the public. In addition to my resume, I have highlighted a few of my qualifications:
Ability to multi-task — I am a quick learner and an excellent worker. Every position I have held has required me to work in a fast-paced, hectic environment so I am capable of handling multiple tasks at once. I know how to prioritize job assignments, work independently and resolve problems on my own, as well as work proficiently within a team. I am very organized and detail-oriented and can find effective solutions to get the job done. I excel at multi-tasking and prioritizing, and never let pressure compromise my work ethic. I successfully managed to work part time, volunteer, hold a position as President of the Social Work Club at and take a full course load of classes while maintaining a 3.5 g.p.a.
Excellent communication skills — As mentioned before, I have extensive experience dealing with the public. In my current position, I speak with customers on a daily basis in a sales driven environment, often assisting them in resolving problems and answering their questions, as well as offering products and services. In a previous position, I was required to speak with clients regarding their financial difficulties in order to refer them to social agencies that could best meet their needs.
Technically proficient — I am proficient in Word, Excel, Windows and other computer applications listed on my resume. I also have experience operating multi-line phones, fax and copier machines, and scanners. In previous positions, I have done filing work, been responsible for writing and sending out correspondence by mail, and maintaining updated/alphabetized records.
Bachelor’s degree — I hold a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from .
My resume is enclosed for your consideration. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss in more detail how my background can be of benefit to your company. Please call me at the number above to schedule an interview. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
admin answers:
Personally I think it is too long. Briefly describe your skills and proficiencies. Employers are not looking for a novel. Also bachelor’s degree should be on your resume, no need to be on your cover letter. I would just say things like “I feel like my customer service skills are excellent” or “I am proficient in Word, Excel, Windows and other day to day administrative duties”. they will fill in the blanks for things like filing, alphabetizing, etc. Be breif!
